The Bioethics and the Deaf community class was taught in January 2017 semester at Gallaudet University. The course is taught by the world's only Deaf Bioethicist and philosopher, Dr. Teresa Blankmeyer Burke. The class covered issues of genetics and how it could potentially affect the Deaf community, and the course explored the meaning of disability in our society. The class decided to put together a case study as the final project.
